Senior Director of Flight Operations
After graduation from Auburn University at Montgomery and commissioning through AFROTC, John served almost 24 years in the USAF as a Nuclear Missile Launch Officer, a C-21 (Learjet) instructor pilot and KC-135 flight test evaluator pilot. During his career, John accumulated over 4,000 hours in various models of the KC-135 tanker supporting peacetime and combat operations around the world. He earned his Master’s degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in aviation safety and has extensive training and experience as an aviation safety officer and air crash investigator. John joined the OARS team in 2016 as a line pilot and now serves as the Senior Director of Flight Operations. He also maintains his active flying status with OARS and is the Training and Standardization Captain for the B-707 fleet.
