Omega Aerial Refueling Services is now providing aerial refueling services to both the F-35B and F-35C Lightening II aircraft. The stealthy fighters have been conducting flights and receiving fuel from Omega’s tanker aircraft over the eastern seaboard since Friday, November 2, 2017.

Omega Aerial Refueling Services received an interim flight clearance (IFC) for aerial refueling operations for the F-35B and F-35C on Friday, September 15, 2017. With the IFC granted by NAVAIR, Omega’s operations team immediately began coordinating mission requests to provide fuel to U.S. Navy and Marine Corps operations.
“It is exciting to be expanding the capacity and range of services Omega delivers,” said Christopher J. Paul, President and Chief Executive Officer of Omega Aerial Refueling Services. “We are honored to have supported the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps for nearly two decades, and are looking forward to expanding strategic reach and land and sea-based rapid response to their 5th generation aircraft operations.”
Over the last 17 years, Omega Aerial Refueling Services has supported U.S. Marine Corps fixed-wing expeditionary land and sea based tactical aircraft such as Marine Corps F/A-18, AV-8B, EA-6B, and MV-22B. In addition to Marine Corps TACAIR, Omega provides support to all seven variants of the F-18 in service with the U.S. Navy. Omega Aerial Refueling Services plans to support domestic F-35B and F-35C operations, as well as operations overseas as required by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
Omega Aerial Refueling Services is the only provider of commercial aerial refueling services in the world, and has completed more than 6,000 missions and delivered more than 238 million pounds of fuel. Omega offers a range of refueling solutions to the U.S. Armed Forces and U.S. allies across the globe.
