Bill Schaefer served in the Department of the Navy for nearly 35 years, retiring from federal service as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Planning, Programming and Resources. He then spent seven years as an executive at Northrop Grumman, most recently as Sector Vice President of Business Development, Aerospace Systems. He has been actively involved with OARS for over 10 years, has served as its Chairman of the Board for the last five years, and now serves as Interim President.
