OPERATIONAL SQUADRONS AND FLEET
Omega operates under a contract with the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) PMA 226 to support U.S. Navy and Marine Corps flight operations worldwide. Users are not charged a fee for using OARS as all costs are covered under the NAVAIRSYSCOM contract. Omega allocates fuel in the same manner as any military base or airport with a government fuel contract.
U.S. Air Force & Air National Guard

Omega has provided boom air-to-air refueling support to both U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard units. Support may be provided either via the U.S. Navy contract or via an independent contract. Omega allocates fuel in the same manner as any military base or airport with a government fuel contract.
Foreign Military Sales
Available to Deliver Military Aircraft Worldwide
With worldwide logistics centers, Omega provides first-in-class commercial air-to-air refueling services to allied foreign nations in the Indo-Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East regions. Omega will work closely with your organization and U.S. Navy contract representatives to ensure we serve your needs in a timely manner. The key steps are ensuring receiver aircraft are cleared to receive fuel from Omega tankers and setting up the FMS agreement/funding transfers. Omega’s management will help you through this process. Once these steps are complete, Omega will act as your air-to-air refueling operational tanker from initial contact to completion of the aircraft refueling mission or delivery of the aircraft to their final destination.
The dual-hose configuration of the KDC-10 allows for a margin of safety for long overwater flights. During one mission, six new Super Hornets were delivered from Lemoore, California to RAAF Base Amberly in Brisbane, Australia in just three legs. During another mission, Omega transported a squadron of RAAF F/A-18 Hornets from RAAF Tindal, Australia to Eielson AFB, Alaska.

Omega aircrew have extensive military experience in all aspects of air-to-air refueling support, including the testing environment. The Omega contract with the Navy allows for modifications to the Omega tanker aircraft to support research, development, test, and evaluation efforts. The programs only pay for the flight hours used.
Once the mission is complete, unused funds will be returned. The Omega operations team will be happy to facilitate coordination between each program’s representatives to ensure a successful event.
The Omega tankers were invaluable to the overall success of the exercise. Omega’s reliability was outstanding, with not a single maintenance problem the entire week. Again, the exercise would not have been possible without the hard work and support of the Omega tankers.
