This August, following testing at NAS Patuxent River, Maryland, Omega Air KC-707 aircraft were certified to refuel all F-35B/C variants of the F-35 Lightning II. The Omega KDC-10 aircraft has been certified since 2017. Today, the company’s entire fleet now stands ready to support this state-of-the-art aircraft worldwide in any conditions.

This new capability will improve contract support and lower costs for the Navy and Marine Corps. Large exercises will no longer require the inclusion of a military KC-130 to refuel the F-35 only; at future exercises, Omega will be able to refuel every probe-equipped asset in the air.

Omega Aerial Refueling Services operates a fleet of KC-707 and KDC-10 aircraft owned by Omega Air. Omega’s tankers are the only tankers in the world besides the KC-130 that can refuel every single aerial refueling fixed wing and tilt-rotor aircraft in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps inventory.
